Moric Palmer: Director
Mr. Palmer is a directing the day care by wearing many hats. In the time that we have volunteered there, we have personally witnessed him working hard to repair damages to the old and worn-down building including plumbing issues, infrastructure damage, as well as him rebuilding the floor in one of the rooms that is used as a place for the children to nap and play.Mr. Palmer works to repair an old school bus that has many mechanical problems but is still needed. Mr. Palmer manages to do all of this while remaining to interact heavily with each of the children. Furthermore, Mr. Palmer is a father figure to many of children who come from broken homes and does it with genuine love and joy.

Mrs. Corbin or Ms. Green , a native of Atlanta, is also the longest serving staff at Mother Hubbard, serving since September 23rd 1993. Mother Hubbard is her family, her daughter has grown here and the love for the children is what has kept her here for the past 22 years. When asked what her role is as Assistant director she chuckled and said “I do it all, I play mama, cook, teacher, bus monitor and counselor."
